Our First Year in Review

Curious about Pony Play? Do you want to be brushed and patted and put through your paces? Perhaps you want a pony of your own but aren't quite sure where to start. Pony Tromper and his Handler, Lark, will provide a practical introduction to Pony Play; no experience necessary! They will discuss a variety of topics, from finding your inner pony (or handler), to sources of tack which won't break the bank, to finding a partner to explore this dynamic with, to the types of scenes common in the Pony Play community.  Tromper and Lark have many experiences to share with the equine-curious, so bring your questions and get ready to horse around!

In this session, we will talk about the different ways Cis horses use body language to communicate. We can all be inspired by the movements of Cis horses, to express our inner pony, find pony headspace, communicate basic needs, and request or give consent. We will also talk about the main vocalizations that horses a make (whinnies, nickers and snorts) and why and when they make them. We will finish with an easy exercise to learn to whinny in a few quick steps.

A purely social mixer to meet and greet with the presenters and get to chat as a group. Everyone is welcome (whether you're new, curious, a fan of pony play, a Handler/trainer, or, of course, ponies!) and encouraged to show up in pony tack! Due to Zoom restrictions, please no full-frontal nudity on camera. A playful time for all those attending the classes to meet and discuss their love and inspiration of pony play!

In this workshop we will dive deeper into pony play to discuss the gaits, patterns and signals used for dressage.

* We will talk/demonstrate the pony gaits: Walk, trot, canter, gallop.  

* We will talk/demonstrate a few of the "fancier" movements/gaits used in dressage and pony play in general.

* We will talk/demonstrate how to use non-verbal signals to guide your pony through a dressage pattern or through a crowded dungeon. 

* We will talk/demonstrate how dressage can be done in pony play and how to learn about the test patterns that are used in competitions.

What kind of pony are you? Dressage, western, cart, circus... the options are endless! We will be exploring tack and gear options to help you express your inner pony. This class has a strong focus on making your own gear and how to easily alter things to suit your pony play needs. We will spend a little time talking about custom and store bought pony play gear but every pony is unique and your gear should reflect that.

In this workshop, both new and practiced handlers can join Mxstress as they cover handler motivations, resources, and skills for building their pony/equine handling practice. Mxstress will lead attendees to reflect on their motivation(s) as a handler so they can discover and identify what they hope to get out of pony handling. As participants have a firmer grasp on the reigns of their motivations, Mxstress will share skill-building practices for handling, techniques, and tips. Mxstress will close the session by facilitating a resource-sharing space to empower the wisdom in our diverse pony herds.

Many pet/Handler dynamics include a degree of power exchange, and many people assume that the dominant partner is always the Handler, and the submissive partner is always the pet. Some might even think, “But I’m dominant--does that mean I can’t be a pony/pup/critter?” Tromper and Lark are here to reassure you that anyone, no matter what side of the slash (or switch!), can be a Handler or a critter. Using personal anecdotes and discussion, we’ll talk about what submissive handling and dominant animal role play looks like, and how you can explore what is authentic to you in your own dynamic.

Have you ever wanted to be a prized breeding stallion? A fertile mare? A castrated gelding? Do you want to watch your ponies fuck or milk some valuable seed? Then look no further! In this class, we will discuss the basics (and depths!) of sexual pony play. In addition to demystifying sexual ponyplay, we will explore gear, toys, scene ideas, and the interplay between sexual ponyplay and other kinks.

For this class, I will teach you how I made a bridle for a bit gag. I will take you through the steps to take measurements, for which you will need a partner for this stage. Then I will take you through the application of these measurements to the leather straps followed by where to mark and punch the holes. This project should only take a few hours at the most but feel free to take your time. I am learning along with you and look forward to our time together!
